Stephen R. Covey said “Most people do not listen with the intent to understand; they listen with the intent to reply”. I believe the world would be a better place if we would just take the time to listen to each other with the goal of understanding the other person’s perspective.

Karen Hanes, CPCC, ACC
Karen’s mission is to work with open minded, positive thinkers who want to set and achieve sustainable goals where growth, connection, and values are all present.
She serves people who want to work and live with integrity and balance. Her clients want to increase their influence and impact, while leading themselves and others to build something that’s truly worthwhile.
Karen holds the International Coach Federation Associate Certified Coach (ACC) designation as well as the Coaches Training Institute Certified Professional Co-Active Coach (CPCC) credential. In addition to being a professional executive coach, she has 25+ years of business leadership experience in the private and public sectors, as well as experience as a board member in the not-for-profit sector.
As a certified coach, Karen has worked in the public sector, with individuals in educational and government organizations, providing one-on-one executive coaching. Her clients also include business owners, professionals, C-suite and mid-managers from private industry; including manufacturing, financial and professional services, and design firms.
In the past, Karen worked in a variety of industries including technology, manufacturing, printing, commercial and consumer. She has held senior positions in sales, marketing, and general business management for some of the world’s most respected corporations as well as entrepreneurial companies, and in the public sector.
